Wasn’t there a pair of warring African tribes where the women got together and told the men they were cut off until they made peace? May be misremembering a bit, but it worked, instantly.

I think you miss the implication of, “Your body, my choice.”
It’s not about abortion. It’s about rape. They are threatening rape. Telling a rapist that you are withholding sex means nothing to them.
Just stop having sex with the men threatening to rape you!
