I like the template but the KDE GUI is simply beautiful, and looks very modern, so this is not really a real thing
Agreed, KDE and Gnome are closer than ever, but maybe around 2010 Gnome felt like a decade behind KDE and even now to me KDE is still superior to GNOME but by a smaller margin than earlier
