Yeah occupied, but not annexed. I guess when people make these arguments their point is even if it was occupied by a foreign power, foreign power recognized them as separate country.

They can buy houses to house their employees, but they can’t buy to rent to third party.

I think it’s better this way, less congestion to poor would give it a longer lifespan in terms of maintenance as well.

But most of the horrible abuses of caste system are documented around 900AD and later.
It kind of is war against encryption. I generally say western media covers Indian government in unfair bad light, but this is exactly the type of bad light coverage I support. Call out the actual stupidity from the government.

Maybe you’re right, but I know plenty of Brazilians that are indistinguishable from white people. We can’t call them less Brazilian because they’re fairer than the averagei guess real crime is choosing entire cast that is fairer than average and the show being promoted about average people.

Singapore has PayNow, India has UPI, Thailand has prompt pay. And they’ve had it for about half a decade or more. West (EU, US, UK are catching up). Commercial banking is still alive in these Asian countires. And it’s not so hard for banks to adapt.
