Doesn’t Look Like An Alien To Me 👽
You’d be surprised by how many species in Trek are just strait up humans. That’s not even accounting for the 18ish Progenitor offspring groups.
At least there’s an answer as to why via the progenitors.
We got all sorts of aliens in trek. We got humans with weird ears. Humans with spots. Humans with weird foreheads. Humans with weird big ears. We even have human robots.
Don’t forget Humans with perfectly Human features, but aren’t human.
