I actually installed ksh out of curiosity and have been playing around with it. Good shit. I’ll probably stick with zsh though.
How is the name funny?
Korn, like the nu metal band
I would like to remind you all that this actually happened. http://kornshell.com/fun/
No way! That’s amazing!
I know KoЯn, they are a big part of my childhood music expirence, but I still don’t quite get it. What’s the joke?
No joke, just thought it was funny they both share an uncommon name.
I’m German and “Korn” just means “corn … or rather any wheat like product”. I’m still not quite sure what’s so funny.
Humor is subjective. Love your language by the way. I hope to learn it someday.
You’re looking for the word grain.
Koyan.
Great name!
The best name
Are you 5 years old?
No.
Are you sure?
Quite sure. Thank you for your concern as to whether or not I have some form of amnesia.
Shudders in WSL!
I had to use that when I supported windows servers running WSL many years ago, did not like it want to use it
Do you mean Windows Services for UNIX? I don’t think WSL was a thing yet.
Windows subsystem for Linux, before they did that thing with Ubuntu.
I had to VPN to a server, then RDP to another server and then a webby RDP to a server with WSL to run a java command line web application. It was the most descusting thing I have ever done
