Google said anywhere from 30 minutes to 24 hours, but for me 24 hours or even more is a must.

I tend to eat and sleep more and even take 1 day leave from work.

I was wondering whether it’s normal to rest this much or I’m just lazy. It’s not that I cannot push my body to work immediately after sex but I prefer not to force myself.

Hope it’s all normal.

Various factors could affect the answer. Are you a uterus haver? Does sex hurt? If engaging in acrobatic sexual maneuvers, do you stretch before? How often do you have sex? How long are the sessions?

As a uterus haver with EDS, I find sex can put me out of commission for days if I’m not careful. I actually just switched to a gym with a pool so I can do zero gravity exercises if my joints are forked after being fucked.

I’m Male and sexual activity doesn’t hurt. Frequency is kinda weekly and last around 30 minutes.

Never bothered about stretching before sex. It kinda makes sense but never felt its need.

Like the other comments said, trust your body. If you felt like sex was a vigorous enough workout that you need a rest day, take a rest day but if not do do what feels best.

Some of the answers here reflect personal circumstances no doubt. But for most people I expect it is none - you can exercise straight after.

For me, sex is an intense workout. I usually do leg day, chest day, hump day, back day, then cardio, rest on Saturday and then hiit on Sunday
