Poor guy slept through numbers class
He’s using a metric clock, they were really popular in France in the 1790s for some reason.
Oh. I didn’t know that, thanks. I don’t speak Spanish.
That’s while I always use 24 hour clocks mixed with unix time from UTC plus or minus day light saving.
Easy peasy.
I’ll be there between ohninehundredfortyeight and 1695247812
I give everyone the date as ISO 8601 format eg 2023‐09‐20T20:47:15−07:00

Current Metric time 09:07:725 where I live and at time of writing. Also known as decimal time. Source: https://timeity.com/metric-time/
Okay, something I don’t understand. There are 10 hours in a day, 100 minutes in an hour, 100 seconds in a minute. Got all of that.
So what is that 725? Shouldn’t it reset to 0 after 99? So 09:07:98, 09:07:99, 09:08:00, 09:08:01? I’ve seen metric clocks before and I’ve never understood this. It makes no sense how you can rack up 700 seconds if there are 100 seconds in a minute.
