It’s so funny you guys can’t seem to look at things as black and white like cut funding for space and redirect that money to fix bridges. There is a concept of marginal benefit. Spending more money on bridges will not fix fundamental issues that league the country. What should be celebrated should be celebrated. What should be critized, should be critized. Both things can co-exist. Its not one or the other.
It’s not like the United States is immune to construction mishaps either.
