My criticism was about being glib about it. You can view the war in Ukraine however you want. Joking about how many of the enemy troops should have been killed is dehumanizing both the soldiers and the joker.
And apparently, you should cheer for their deaths as well. Is celebrating their widows and left behind families in order, too? Or is that a bit too tactless? /s
