      “Both parties are the same”

“A vote for Harris is a vote for genocide”

This was your sarcastic comment in a thread talking about the article “Trumps calls to ‘clean out’ Gaza and move Palestinians to Egypt and Jordan.”. You weren’t dismissing anyone but were actively participating in the behavior. This wasn’t in response to anyone, it was a parent comment. It was 3 days ago.

Nothing in the article mentioned voters, you decided to bring up the subject.

What a surprise, more projection from your part. I obviously dont expect you to walk back your statement calling me a liar and admit just how two faced you are. I know arguing isn’t about the truth for you but your ego.

Your rhetoric won’t work, don’t call me a liar.

You do know it’s possible to think both parties are bad but one is worse, right?

        So yeah, you lied.

For the record, and I have said this dozens of times on Lemmy, even in this very thread- I am not a Democrat. I have never been a Democrat.

Furthermore, I take the advice of W.C. Fields and “never vote for, only against.”

But would I rather have Harris? Yes. Then I wouldn’t have had to flee the country with my gay daughter before she was put into a camp.

I’ve seen you directly start commment chains more then once on the subject and it was always to blame voters.

Pretty sure you were accusing me of lying about this. Obviously, you are used to moving goal posts.

I know that both parties are in the wrong but one is worse. My whole point is that you consistently blame the voters instead of either of the parties.

Everyone wanted Harris, and I was very vocal about voting for her anyways before the election. But the election is over and they lost because they decided to prioritize genocide instead of their constituents.

You had to flee because Harris chose genocide over your daughter. It’s their job to get votes and they did the opposite. Stop looking for scapegoats.

What do you think you’re bringing to the table by screaming about voters everytime there’s a thread about the genocide? If you aren’t a Democrat, why do you constantly defend them and try to shift the blame, going as far as to argue with people that are trying to keep them accountable for days?

Instead of assuming you are right, use a bit of sense and actually think about what I am saying.

Yes. And it’s still a lie.

Because I did not “always” blame anything but people not shutting up about American politics and not giving a shit about Palestinians. Fuck American politics. It helps nothing in the genocide.

What was the last thing you actually did about this genocide? Because berating people online does not count.

Bro, you are one of those people not shutting up about the voters and politics whenever the subject comes up. How is the comment I outlined not precisely that. You weren’t responding to anyone, you just decided to point your finger at a scapegoat.

Implying that if I didn’t do anything, it somehow means that you are right is rhetoric. One simply doesn’t lead to the other. FYI, I did go to a few protest, not that it helped much. You don’t get to peddle zionist talking points and then act like you are beyond reproach because the one that’s calling you out didn’t self imolate in front of an embassy. PURE RHETORIC.

Another lie. You read one comment I made in the thread and decided that is all I have talked about. You’re basing everything on one single comment.

And I’m not implying anything. I asked you what you were doing. Clearly nothing.

You’re also lying about me being a Zionist. And I know exactly why you’re lying about it too. Not to mention ignoring that literally my previous post to you was the opposite of being a Zionist. (I know, you can’t trust those lying Jews, am I right?)

And finally, as I have said multiple times now, I spend hours every week contacting politicians about this and begging them to do something. You clearly do nothing but lie about strangers on the internet.

It’s the first example I found, I’m not invested enough to go through your whole post history but I did notice a pattern anecdotally. Your name and little icon is noticeable, and I had already lumped you in with the rest of the idiots blaming voters of all people.

Remember that the example was only to show you were lying about being impartial as well as chastising those that brought up either side, when clearly you were part of the problem. One is enough.

I do think you are a zionist but did so before knowing your religion. It was based on the fact that, even though you are constantly commenting, I never saw your name pop up in any of the threads talking about the genocide, then you conveniently found a scape goat and started commenting. To be clear though, I was just saying in the previous comment that you were parroting mossad talking points, since accusing you outright seems to get my comment removed. Honestly, I don’t even think you realize you are doing it.

I don’t understand how someone who is apparently soooo politically active has a preference for such behavior once online. You lie to win an argument so it’s hard to take it at face value.

And before you go on about how you are super honest and I’m the liar and blah blah blah.

This is you a few comments ago:

I am dismissing people continuing to talk about the election when it’s over as if it matters when people are fucking dying.

This is you sarcastically three days ago:

                  “Both parties are the same”

“A vote for Harris is a vote for genocide”

Don’t feel butthurt over being caught in a lie and shown to be a hypocrite, grow from it and argue in good faith instead.

You say a lot but nothing you have said so far has indicated a single thing about you caring about Palestinians. Not one thing.

You have said nothing in their support and you clearly have done nothing to help them. I’m starting to doubt you could find Palestine on a map.

All you apparently care about is being rude to people on the internet. That’s it. I’ve asked you what you’ve done and you refuse to answer. Because you have done nothing.

I have spent hours and hours and hours working my ass off to stop this genocide and all you do is berate people.

                    Disgusting.

                    (Also, I don’t believe for a second you didn’t know I was a Jew.)
