It is not universal problem. In EU for example there is universal roaming. So you can use your home sim card in destination country without extra costs. However there are some limitations with this approach.

It is as much about the means as it is about the purpose. So if you are manipulating a kid so they behave in a way that will help him get throug life this is not manipulation. But if you manipulate them into something that only serves you… Yeah that is manipulation.

So in case of convincing someone in a debate it depends. If you goal is to win a debate by manipulation, so you can feel as a winner, that is manipulation. But if you want yo educate them this is not.

But a mere praise can often change someone interest and even values.

Normal cash can be tracked. Each buck has a serial number. While with digital euro it does not have to be that way. While we do not have implementation yet, it most certanly is possible to develop something that is less tracable that cash. One example qould be monero crypto currency that is more private and more anonymous than cash. While I do not think privacy will go this deep, I think Implementation of privacy would be comparable to cash transactions.

About it being offline: If you have a transaction I signed with my private key for example over NFC you do not need it to be online at all. You can always prove I paid you.

Digital euro projects claims that it will solve that issue. If they will go with current design it will be more private, better and more convinient than cash. It will work offline p2p and without global transaction tracking. And it will not be dependent on a single company.

Everything that is cheap is relatively cheap. Nothing is cheap in absolute sense. Most of ut is based on my ginancial situation if I have zero € everything is expensive.

To talk about cheap or expensive you are always talking about either how much similar items usually cost or how easily you specifically can afford it. But it is always relative.

It costs as much as normal house closer to the city. This makes it cheaper than one would expect for a giant historically important castle. If those were built today by modern standards they would cost much more.

• Waydroid or Anbox for android apps
• steam/proton/wine and winapps for windows
• linux for linux. :D (to be completelt serious: distrobox, toolbox, flatpack, docker for apps thare might not be packaged for your spexific distros)

Some are just translation layers (eg. Wine) which usually are way faster but have worse support than complete virtualization (eg. winapps).

But all those project should give you the same experience as running all apps natively in linux.

Sport news is news. However most sport news is not significant enough to make “front page”. What would make front page are some records etc. World cup is really important event. For humanity not just for sport fans. It is on pair with olimpic games. While I do not want to know who won in some random sport I do want to know if some significant records were broken or other significant stuff happenig.

I would go with two (or more) proxmox nodes working as one. And then running even more VMs on them as kubernetes nodes. Proxmox handles lots of stuff for yout that is harder to handle in phusical machine.
