A bunch of my gaming circle is making the leap to Matrix with the sponsored content that’s coming to Discord and the new vidoeo channels in Element.
We have a few holdouts still, but I’m hoping they’ll join us eventually.
They’re mostly used for calligraphy.
I’ve been preparing to make the leap to Vikunja in an effort to go self hosted. I can’t tell you how it is yet, but it may be worth looking into.

I switched five years ago or so, but the last two years have been great. Almost all of the little annoyances I had disappeared in that time.
Their game runs just fine on Linux. Been playing it there for months now.

It took me a ridiculously long time to switch to GIMP and If I wasn’t all in for FOSS I wouldn’t have done it. I really can’t imagine any of the designers I know using it full time.

I agree. I’m trying out Sync for the first time, but if I need a subscription to avoid advertising I’ll probably go back to Connect.
My family members all moved over to Matrix about a year ago. It’s been great so far. I also use Signal quite a bit.

This thread inspired me to take a look at Bitwarden. It’s so much better than what I was using that I switched instantly.
Notifications drive me crazy. I just keep my phone perpetually on silent. The only app that gets an exception is how my county pages first responders.

That’s working as intended. The survey won’t accept you wanting two things most or least. You can pick one you want most, one you want least, and the unselected option is the one you have the weakest opinion on.
