It takes work, and it takes emotional patience with people. Screaming at the top of our lungs that we must have revolution does nothing. We must be teachers first, show the masses that their attempts at reforms are failing. If they are rational at all, they will listen. If they are not rational, getting angry and scolding them does nothing.

The western left (and I self-criticize when I say this because it applies to me as well) tends to be very infantile, very impatient, and has relatively low levels of militancy within it. I’m a full on hoxhaist. I have a very specific view on what I want socialism to look like, and what strategies I believe are actually beneficial. That being said, if I spend the bulk of my time engaged in disrespecting other tendencies instead of doing literally anything I will never see the world I want. No bunkers will be built, and I will be sad. ☹️

The average person just wants to see us do something. How often do communist parties in the west actually organize things themselves as opposed to hopping onto some liberal groups thing? If we can’t even, for example organize our own red aid in a remotely comparable way to what some rando charity is doing, we got a long ass way to go ya know? There is hardly room to bicker and try to dictate peoples lives and views until we’ve proven to be a force of good.

Here in the US i’ve been told about people being forced to walk on hot coals and having lighters burn the palm of their hand as long as they can handle. Kids have literally killed themselves at these camps. Fuck the idea they should just be illegal, any parent that puts their kid through this should get 10-15 in prison.

I’m not knowledgeable on the conflict, but it seems that most ML parties hold the position that Kashmir should be allowed to decide its own future.

So you’ve basically got 3 separate ML tendencies here, and 3 of these statements are from parties that would be familiar with the region. Some of these groups have made more recent statements but nothing that contradicts anything they previously said from what I can tell.

I just meant after support is dropped. The CIP I think supports each of its kernels for 10 years? So whatever the last kernel is before they officially drop support will still be maintained by them for a long time. :)

Just want to say that a large amount of users on lemmygrad and hexbear have complained about this. This post was even added to the slop community on hexbear because, believe it or not, hexbear does care about transphobia. He was called out 8-9 months ago too. Most ML parties in the US I’ve interacted with have been pro trans. CPUSA, PSL, FRSO, APL, (to name a few) are all supportive of trans people.
