Great in theory, but there are too many people
This is defeatism and giving up before you even try.
My state recently started allowing early voting, I voted Saturday. This year a minimum wage raise and an attempted pre-emptive ban of RCV proposition were both on the ballot. That old trope about “if you don’t vote you can’t complain” is true and we all have to participate and try to make the changes we want.
Sounds like non-Republicans need to start forming their own armed networks to protect each other if existing “Law Enforcement” refuses to.
I tell people as often as I can, especially my trans and bipoc friends; now is the time. Get a couple guns (a long one and a short one) and learn how to use them. Learn some basic first aid, you really just need to know how to stabilize someone. Start networking with like-minded people in your communities. The police will not protect us, they’ve proven they’ll happily club senior citizens to the ground and shoot any protesters in the face with rubber bullets while escorting a rightwing murderer to safety.
Iran was a secular, liberal state until almost 1980 when they (mostly legitimately) elected an Islamist theocracy; it could happen here.

Police violence has been an epidemic for decades, ask the nearest brown guy. What we’re seeing now isn’t necessarily the increase in violence itself, but a rise in reporting and accountability, people are becoming aware of it and how often it actually happens.
An increase in awareness doesn’t mean you lost or that it’s over.
Rome wasn’t built in a day as the saying goes. Because we make incremental progress shouldn’t mean we stop fighting. Defeatism and apathy has never won anyone anything.

I just got a new 6.5 Creedmoor for deer season and I’ve been really pleased with it so far. I’ve only had it to the range to zero it in so far but it shoots really nice, I’m excited to take it out and try to get something in a few weeks.

You make an interesting observation and I’ve wondered about the seeming (if not cooperation, certainly working towards the same goals) of anti-semitic white supremacists (“Christian Identity” etc) and far right Christian zionists who believe “jews are gods Chosen People.” It seems they’re just two sides of the same coin.
