The answer is what matters. Thanks again!

The cops were “stunned”? Really? This is pretty normal for autonomous cars. Had they all stepped through a time portal from 2010?

Oh, a corporation made a non binding promise? Everything is okay, then! Whew, I was worried for a minute!
Whoops…lol! Thanks for clearing things up!
I haven’t seen the movie, and don’t remember what was said about it. What did the AI get wrong?

I sleep in an old t-shirt and boxers. Is that 2, 3, or 4?

“They need to go in there and just fuck up peoples teeth.”
Love it.
Goddammit. I like HBO MAX soooo much better than Netflix.

What’s the one in the background doing? Is she playing with her dog? Does she have a treat?

The crisis could even eventually force some Japanese studios to rebrand entirely if their corporate identity is tied to a commercial font they can no longer afford to license.
Regarding this particular problem, I’m on the side of the gaming industry on every issue except this one. It’s sheer insanity not to own everything involved with your company’s identity, ffs. That’s just a monumentally bad decision with obvious, foreseeable risks. I will shed no tears if a big studio has to go through an expensive rebrand because of their own incompetent decision making.
That being said, I don’t know anything about Japanese font licensing besides what’s presented in this article. If anyone has important nuance to add, please do!

Does EA own any other companies/brands that we should be aware of?

Everyone considering visiting the US should ask themselves some serious questions: is my visit so important that it’s worth the risk of being jailed for years? What if I unknowingly break an insignificant law and catch ICEs attention? Do my skin color/religious beliefs put me at greater risk of abuse? What are the possible repercussions for the people I’m visiting, and my loved ones back home?
They can talk about numbers being “down”, but frankly, 1.2 million is WAY too fucking many.

I was annoyed that it took so long, and the “kids” are no longer kids.
Even with that to overcome, though, I thought it was pretty good. I’d say it’s definitely worth watching if you’ve enjoyed previous seasons.
If you’re going to play Superman, have some fun with it. If you never have fun, you’re doing it wrong.

All he’s doing is giving a future president an excuse to tear it down. Plus, visiting politicians and influential businesspeople usually don’t like to hang out in unsafe buildings.
It’s sad that this is still genuinely surprising to some people in 2025
