  • This attitude is how people end up burnt out and how corporations continue to get away with things like wage theft.

It is not solidarity to allow the corporation to abuse you just because they abuse your coworkers.

Everybody needs a job to survive

You’re not special just because you have this particular job. Either get with the program like Chad has or you’ll end up burnt out, in therapy, unable to comprehend why you hate your life, being vengeful about those who understand that the corporation does not care about you and will not treat you with any sort of respect and as long as you’re getting them profit they don’t care what you do either.

If Chad hits the metrics he’s supposed to despite him forgetting to do his job and corporate doesn’t care then you’re the fool for working past chads level.

What Chad does is recognize what his labor is actually worth and what the company is paying him. What you’re doing is allowing the corporation to take advantage of you and pull more of your labor for even less wage. You’re actually allowing the system to screw hard workers and pay workers less by capitulating your time in this way to corporations

This defense mechanism is also seen similarly in toxic relationships for those who don’t want to rock the boat. What you’re doing will ultimately capitulate to the toxic relationship and make things worse.

  • Seriously let’s just blame the electorate?

I didn’t hear the Republicans complaining about Their electorate when they embraced Trump despite the objection of most mainstream Republicans.

    Power’s going to power?

Well people push power back and will just refuse to capitulate to the whole system which is what caused the Democrats to lose the election in 2020.

The job of the Democrat Party is to energize the electorate to vote, something the Republican Party clearly understands: maybe the Democrat Party should take lessons

  • Love the mispellibg of “sweety”

Love the implication the Democrats are powerless.

Love the implications that Joe Biden couldn’t have done anything more than what he did.

Still miss the challenge though which was name on permanent policy the Democrats have done that Joe Biden has done. I can name a few from Obama that did have a permanent impact on people but it’s kind of funny I’m drawing at blank Joe Biden.

It’s almost like his administration was entirely political theater designed to seemingly capitulate to populist ideas will not really giving them anything.

  • Yeah the Democrats are doing so much to stop the Republicans now 🙄

Definitely seems like they are the warrior of the people.

They’re definitely not answering any corporate overlords or imposing political strategies that are known to fail and haven’t worked in nearly 20 years in order not to offend their donors.

No we can ignore the dramatic shifts the Kamala campaign talk in order to appeal to moderates that resulted in her getting less conservative votes than biden did in 2020.

Let’s ignore the geriatric old man that also promised to run again despite the fact that nobody wanted him to and internal DNC polling predicting it would be an abject failure.

Finally let’s not forget the genocide they funded with open arms and full throated support proving to be the reason that one in three absentee voters who voted in 2020 did not vote in 2024.

Yep let’s just ignore all of the bumblefuckery of the Democrats and how they literally fumbled an election that was on a silver platter.

I mean it’s clear they haven’t learned their lesson my removing David hog and not really supporting Zohran mamdani. The official org president has come out and supported him but notable Democratic leaders still haven’t endorsed him.

No it was definitely the Republicans who only capitalized on the failure of the Democrats to do literally anything useful.

  • Yet another thing that Biden somehow managed to fail us on.

Did he do anything to protect our rights or our freedoms or was it all just incremental budget bills to fund projects that are going to keep their billionaire donors happy?

    Edit:

    • USPS
    • FCC
    • DOJ

Just a few American services he refused to utilize and fix.

Wanna talk about other broken promises?

    • failed on government option of health care
    • failed on overall student loan forgiveness and a failure to use the broad powers the supreme court just granted that office
    • failed on increase to federal minimum wage
    • shutdown railroad strike and forced a suboptimal deal on to the union workers
    • prosecute trump (this one defines his legacy after Gaza)
    • funded a genocide
    • allowed covid protections that lifted 50% of children in poverty out of poverty to expire
    • failed to address rising prices
    • failed to leave a marked impact on the everyday lives of Americans

Name one permanent thing that he did that still benefits the majority of Americans today.

  • My personal opinion she should have voted against funding the genocidal regime of Israel and this is the consequence 🤷

They’re committing a genocide. No amount of wishy-washy Behavior about whether or not is real people deserve a right to defense matters anymore when they’ve systematically slaughtered 200,000 Palestinians and these defensive systems are enabling that Slaughter.

Israel would be much less bold if they didn’t have their missile system to protect them from any retaliatory strikes like the strike on Iran.

  • Well theoretical the DNC is not baked directly into the government and continues its stranglehold by trying to kill all 3rdparty prospects pretty aggressively.

If a group was able to pull it off and build a completely new political party it could change the fabric of the government the same way MAGA is now however this is not Reformation. Its a soft power Revolution similar to what happened with Adelle in Chile.

I mean functional what’s occurring with the Trump administration is a soft power revolution.

The point of this discussion is to encourage people to put down the DNC in favor of other organizations like local ones that actually benefit the community by helping the impoverished or to look at other organizations like the DSA or PSL or FSRO which at least help encourage people to learn anarchist or Marxist theory which is significantly better at predicting and helping people navigate the political landscape then the neoliberal theory that lead us here in the first place.

  • I tried using a wireless Logitech mouse the g305. Dead in a few weeks. I tried using the wireless steelseries Aerox 3 which only lasted a few weeks.

I ended up with SteelSeries Prime Neo Noir which is wired but has none of the issues I was having with the other mice. This would be my recommendation if you can stomach The Wire

  • Like a business with executives at the top that have argued in court that what the constitutes want doesnt matter.

Its mostly a massive political network that Dems used to push ineffective policy that won’t offend their billionaire donors like Mark Cuban based on old outdated ideas of austerity and altruism.

Their primary function seems to be collect money from the vulnerable utilizing predatory donation collecting that results in seniors finding all their money “donated” and in bankruptcy.

To ensure the constitutes can not force a change in the party the same way Trump did the DNC uses super delegates which are appointed automatically by holding various positions in the party itself. This prevents radical candidates like Bernie Sanders from getting the presidental nomination along with the fact they just ignore the will of the voters which they’ve argued in court successfully that they do.

Seems to me the primary purpose of the Democrats right now is to waste people’s time fighting for ineffectual political policies that will be blocked by the single token “moderate” politician.

They dont do a lot but what they do seems designed to prevent the left from winning.

See the “abundance” agenda for an example of rightwing economic policies wrapped into a liberal dressing.

  • Both sides are functionally the same when it comes to the world. There’s barely a difference between domestic policy between the two American parties. One uses sweet nothing’s to try assuage your fears and the other uses Force and strongman techniques.

Yeah the FDR Reformation came directly from FDR and we pushed through at his behest. According to my understanding of these politics at a time if The president hadn’t been FDR we would not have gotten those Reformations. Besides they hardly matter nowadays when they’re practically entirely Stripped Away. The last surviving one is social security and they’re pretty gung-ho about getting rid of that too.

  • I don’t know why we keep having to have this talk about why reformism doesn’t work. Rosa Luxembourg addressed this pretty well.

We aren’t likely to get Reformations, the problems with the Democratic party are baked directly in to the institution.

Anything offered as Reformation is a token to ensure that the masses don’t revolt at least until the Reformation can be clawrd back by the powers that be.
