  • From my experience:

Gently let your husband know that if his mom says something negative that he should not pass it along to you. What his mom said did not hurt you until he told you. That’s how I taught my kid not to spread gossip.

As for your mother in law, if she comments that something is messy, hand her a broom. That’s how I got my certified-clean-freak mom to stop making comments. “Vacuum’s in the closet” was another one, but she was my mom, not my MIL, so it wasn’t as hard for me. Sooo…have your husband do it. :)

  • It’s quartz…maybe. The crystal foramtion is what’s throwing me. My sample is banged up, but still the crystals appear to be 5-sided, not 6.

What is saphira? I couldn’t find anything onine. I found corundum, fo sapphire, but the mohs scale is too high for my sample, a 9. My sample is closer to a 7. Also corundum streaks colorless and my sample streaks white.

Clinozoisite is a similar mohs, but streaks greyish-white.

    So I’m thinking quartz.

  • I’ll explain the logic as I understand it, but that’s it. I was posting for the rule and this was in my memes folder. I’ve had many religion debates and find that no one is ever satisfied on either side and everyone ends up with hard feelings. I’m not here to piss people off. That’s not my nature.

The logic used by the author of the meme is that god doesn’t exist and that it is a made up concept to get people to behave.

Humans want crows to behave a certain way so they made scarecrows.

Humans want other people to behave a certain way so they made god. The meme suggests that the god concept is a behavior modifier. There are no crops.
