I dont actually think thats the reason. I think its a, misguided, attempt to be able to say “look, its a peaceful protest!”

These arent bad tips, but I think #2 is unrealistic for a lot of people. For instance, I live in a small studio apartment. Theres no keeping my electronics out of my bedroom.

Im not “right,” Im simply sharing how I feel, my opinion on the matter. I also think comparing vote counts isnt a healthy outlook. If 60 people upvoted your post, and 90 people upvoted a meme, I understand the feeling of "I put so much more effort into my meme specifically for here,* but 60 people still took the time to click the button that says you made their day better. And the mene with 90 votes? It was selectively taken to be posted here from presumably many more that werent as good, or it wouldnt be shared cross platforms. Not really fair.
