Had not seen the vid
Rammstein/Lady Gaga mashup of Telephone.
Why does it work?
Nice, not only will that do the job but it’s a better experience than Netflix’s own UI.
Just had a conversation with my partner on this, she’s on the basic package (UK) and not prepared to accept the next price jump (the hike plus the need to upgrade the package).
Plenty of options to find Netflix content elsewhere, her concern is losing the ability to scroll through Netflix and find something she’d otherwise not see.
Any advice for conviniantly seeing what’s on Netflix on her phone, without going to Netflix?
Ah cool, that’s also where the option to hide Bot Accounts is,ty
Instapaper? Is this some new magic I’ve not heard of?
UK.
28 days PTO plus bank holidays.
28 days full-pay self-certificate sick leave.
6 months full pay with Dr’s cert, beyond that 50% pay for 24 months.
There are, bit pissed about it tbh. The over arching feedback on ‘time’ is to take a long rest whenever you feel the need but also that you need to take them to progress the main story; so long rests are fundamental to the game.
This is great, except at least one quest does have a timer and no, I didn’t read/see/hear any warning about this.
I’m fine with some quests actually having a timer, just mark them red in the journal or something
Yup, plus passata and puree. No such things as a tomato glut.
You’re going to hear a lot of people saying how straight forward Windows is install; I’m avoiding W11 so have my W10 anecdote.
The only way I’ve ever been able to install W10 is to disconnect every single peripheral except m/kb and one single drive.
Anything else over the years, be it different mobos, HDD,SSD m.2 thingies it’s always been the same; anything more than m/kb and one single disk W10 shits the bed.
If you’re still struggling, try that.
Very very very little indication they would be better, and I’m very left of center in politics.
Starmer is very suss as far as I’m concerned, I’m not at all comfortable with his purges…if he gets in, we’ll see.
Live launches, documentaries etc; I can get behind this streaming service.
All good choices, but seeing no love for KDE Connect?
Yup same here. Two profiles, one is my daily driver and open source, they other is for the few apps I need with Google services. This is the perfect compromise between what I want, and what I need.
Used to be worse, to quote messers Pratchett & Gaimon.
"NOTE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND AMERICANS: One shilling = Five Pee.
It helps to understand the antique finances of the Witchfinder Army if you know the original British monetary system
Two farthings = One Ha’penny. Two ha’pennies = One Penny. Three pennies = A Thrupenny Bit. Two Thrupences = A Sixpence. Two Sixpences = One Shilling, or Bob. Two Bob = A Florin. One Florin and One Sixpence = Half a Crown. Four Half Crowns = Ten Bob Note. Two Ten Bob Notes = One Pound (or 240 pennies). Once Pound and One Shilling = One Guinea.
The British resisted decimalized currency for a long time because they thought it was too complicated."

I’m on an old android 7 (LineageOS), no issues this side.
Online ads, same here.
Was a small thing, I was vaguely aware of online ads but only at a high level.
Was browsing online for garden sheds then turned the laptop off. Came back in the evening and every single site was pushing ads for gardens sheds.
Did some research and 7 years later, de-googled phone, all social media long since closed, linux (mostly), VPN etc etc.
Not going to pretend I can do anything against state actors (CIA, GCHQ) , my threat actors are businesses, Meta, Amazon, Googlr etc.
Can’t beat them all, but I can make my data exepensive to them at least.
The last two for fuck sake; after that list what the hell is, or how does Fuckerburg, define ‘sensitive data’?
‘People’ won’t react to this until they are hit with a real and tangible consequence:
‘sorry, based on the heath data you gave to Meta we’re doubling your insurance premiums’
I never get tired of this one, though my favorite has one more frame with Aragorn further off into the distance before Leglass’ comment.
