So I have tried installing lemmy (instance) on my server for two weeks now :) at this point I can only laugh. Now I got it installed (hopefully right) from scratch after trying every other method I could find. But now I’m trying to start the service and it gives me Error 203 I checked permissions but looks right. Is there anywhere I can find more details or get a log where the service stops. Because lets be honest. I looks like the universe is telling me that its a bad idea to start a lemmy instance. :/ any advice is much appreciated!

They are illegaly coming too. Also media is silent about this? It is the only thing they talk about.

I’ve started from scratch several times. Never get further than the build command. :) But i will try again later today.

I get ssl errors when i try to access the site.

I’ve been trying for more than a week. LemmyEasyDeploy worked. But now i’m stuck with ssl certificate.

I agree woth this post. Wealth has nothing to do with this. And if they survive they can easily pay the bill.

Ok. But how long can it last then? We need a big community where you can attract everyone. It’s good that there are allot of different bubbles too. But we also need a few huges ones willing too do the heavy lifting so there is some real content which attracts everyday readers and content creators.
