As others have said the fact that you even feel like you need to pay for better care says more about the state than yourself. I live in the UK and we’re one of the worst countries for trans healthcare that doesn’t outright ban it, I have several trans friends who sought out private healthcare for this reason and I do not blame them at all.

I’m vegan and have been for well more than a year now. I don’t see myself backtracking on it. I went vegan obviously for animal rights reasons but there were also other concerns which led to me making the step, such as environmentalism (the animal farming industries being one of the biggest causes of climate change, land usage etc) and even humanitarianism (these industries frequently exploit immigrants and have been caught using child labour, they also have one of the highest PTSD rates of any industry).

It’s the Republican manifesto for a 2025 victory and would essentially put the Republican party on the same level as what Nazi Germany were doing in their early days. It would give full control of America’s Executive Wing to the president, ban books about queer people and being queer (the literal first thing the Nazis did, by the way) and would force librarians to register as SEX OFFENDERS if they didn’t comply, make gender and sexuality based discrimination legal, overturn bills surrounding climate change, and would make abortions damn near impossible to get.

It would literally revert America back to the 1940s in terms of civil rights. It is beyond fascism, it is literally evil.

No, because then what happens in the next election? You just do the same thing again? Then again? Then again? You aren’t going to solve a problem by just twiddling your thumbs and hoping it solves itself. The best solution at the moment is to vote for a third party. I won’t lie and pretend it’s a perfect solution but it at least has a better chance of making some type of progress than just doing the same thing the libs have been attempting for decades with absolutely nothing to show for it

I joined World in June of this year and immediately got sick of all the libs on there. I found this instance because of what happened and I think I’ll stick to this one from now on
