I fully understand and respect people just giving up on dating, it’s exhausting and demoralising. I also think a lot of women have unrealistic expectations of what dating will be like.

Well, that’s one hell of a meet-cute.
There’s learning, and there’s learning.
If I explain someone what an electric fence is, they will likely believe me, unless someone else tells them electric fences aren’t really that bad or are made up, etc.
If they touch the electric fence, they’ve learned in a way that no words can convince them otherwise. They’ve experienced it firsthand.
Americans are going to learn the hard way.
This tariff thing is something the states will just have to learn the hard way.
And I suspect it’s going to hurt.
Like what? What’s gone wrong?
We have a tendency to assume other people think like us, so that would actually explain a lot.
Yeah, but you got invited to parties in the first place.
Well, that’s depressing. Although I understand why, if you’re not socially confident, approaching a woman romantically can feel terrifying.
I do find it interesting that most young women do want to be approached more, I wasn’t expecting that.
I also note the study is silent on how many women have approached a man, and I don’t think they even asked the question.
I haven’t seen the sequel, but the original was filmed in actual F14 aircraft, so I’d be amazed if the cockpit layout was wrong.
There’s never been a point in my life where going out drinking all night has made financial sense. A meal and a beer at a pub, sure, but bars are expensive. And loud. And cramped.
The kids are on to something.
I think a big part of it is online dating is just how it’s done these days.
But yes, we’ve done a great job of over-complicating something as simple as human interaction.
Is Anon talking out their ass with those stats, or is this actually true?
Does the bicycle support being charged while riding? Or does it shut down for safety reasons?
People who defend modern day Russia, and the many terrible things they do.
Most notably blaming NATO, or “US imperialism” for the multiple countries being invaded.
Yeah, no. If the film takes a stance on an issue, or advocates for a certain point of view, but isn’t upfront about it, it shouldn’t be considered.
Mine figured out how door handles work.
when that opposition to NATO turns into Russian apologism.
It almost always does. They’re a defence pact, which is only activated when a member state is attacked, and the people who oppose them are, without any exception I’ve ever seen, people who think Russia should be free to invade their neighbors.
You genuinely don’t think Russia is a threat to its neighbours, do you?
That is very much changing, in my view, in large part because actual luxury vehicles are sticking with physical controls.
