Because the problem wasn’t that the government spuriously massacred a bunch of people arguing for democracy. It was the insinuation that people died where Mao founded the Republic of China, obviously.

“We have a lot of political leaders here in the U.S. who are camping out in Poland to try to tilt it,” said Randy Evans, who was ambassador to Luxembourg during Trump’s first term.
Isn’t that just an open admission that they’re trying to influence a foreign election
A Gillette open comb safety razor from the 1930s. But it’s had the handle replaced with a Gillette tech handle from the 40s.
In an image search, I found someone selling the exact same Frankenrazor which leads me to believe this may have been a popular mod back in the day.
Also remember to flip the switch on your power supply
Apple made $36B last quarter. €500M every 3 months might just be seen as the cost of doing business in the EU.
If you make US federal minimum wage, this is the equivalent of a $54.81 fine that you have 3 months to pay
Why not ban both? There are nuanced approaches you could take that wouldn’t immediately force every addict to quit cold turkey, or turn to the black market.
What counts as “flavored alcohol”?
I think everclear and vodka are basically the only two that aren’t typically flavored with something
Those were also arguably food at some point
All art should be preserved, even if it’s bad
Except for the name “Madison”, which comes from the 1984 Tom Hanks movie Splash.
Lovecraft is a bit of an odd duck in this comparison largely because his own works are fairly dull and uninteresting on top of being a generally shitty person overall.
His contributions are mostly that he had some really interesting ideas from the world building side of things that other authors and creators turned into far more interesting stories. Not really comparable to JKR in that Harry Potter is actually a pretty good piece of YA fiction.
“you feel the spell take hold, but for some reason the crown remains rusty”
Then you pivot that the rust is a powerful illusion or some kind of curse cast on the crown by someone related to that backstory to keep it hidden. Then while your players try to figure out why simply cleaning the rust didn’t work, you try to figure out how to weave in that backstory sooner than later.
If you’re really not ready for it to happen, make sure they have some other quest to do that has a pressing time limit.
It really depends on how much you value your time and how good you are with configuration
A QNAP or Synology will work and be pretty simple to configure out of the box. Installing custom software is possible, but can be tricky as they require you to enable sideloading and custom apps can be hard to find. Both have supported app stores with available apps to do what you’re looking for (QNAP has apps for both torrents and Plex. Not sure about Synology)
However, you will get way more bang for your buck by building one from scratch using something like TrueNAS and the Arr stack, but this can require a fair bit of technical knowledge about configuring containers and securing network services(Especially if you want them to be accessible remotely)
Most people here do selfhosting as a hobby and as a result, the time spent trying new configurations is negligible as it wouldn’t be much of a hobby otherwise.
As with most things of this nature, it’s presented in a way that makes it difficult to argue against, but the evil will come with how it is enforced.
Basically everyone agrees that harmful content should be harder for children to access, and reigning in social media’s exploitation of psychology is laudable.
Right now, there isn’t a good way to control access without handing a ton of personal information to a 3rd party agency with questionable oversight. When you want to access porn in meatspace, you share your name and age with the store clerk, who will promptly forget it. The system doesn’t translate to a digital medium with permanent records.
This feels like a Peter Molydeux tweet
People use their phones primarily as media consumption devices. That means bigger screens are desirable to the public at large.
We were well on our way to miniaturization until your phone also became a pocket computer
Tapatio, Valentina’s, or Cholula.
Get some good honey and then make mead flavored with blackberries instead
