Glad your scaly friend is OK!
Am I the only one who sees an alien trapped in your curtains?!
I looked quickly and that’s what the pattern looks like with the way your curtains fall 😅

“Tarantula” and “Earth vs the Spider” come to mind, but it’s been a while since I’ve seen them. Both have the small-town thing going for them, if I’m remembering correctly!
It’s working better, but not perfect. Most drivers I encounter downtown follow the signs. Crosswalks are safer because those turning right are at a stop waiting for their green instead of pulling up a bit into the crosswalk to look left for oncoming traffic. Some of the right turns downtown aren’t always easy rights due to parked cars or other items semi-blocking the line of sight. I have one office at the CCB and one on the circle, and I feel like these signs have definitely improved some of the traffic concerns around that area.
I work downtown (CCB). I love these signs and that many drivers are following them. Crosswalks are safer, for sure. There are quite a few drivers who don’t follow the new signs, and those people suck.

It’s finally a weekend with no set plans, so I’m going to work on some art, change my oil, and maybe we’ll have a fire since the weather is going to be nice. So a weekend with no plans turns into catching up on me time and getting to things I’ve put off for too long 🙃
There are a few different apps and websites out that will find recipes based on ingredients you enter in. It’s useful for ingredients you already have in the fridge or pantry, but you can also put in some ingredients you’re familiar with – even if you have to go get them (like ingredients you know you’ve seen before or that you’ve maybe purchased in the past).
This doesn’t help with going down the recipe rabbit hole, but it might help give you some new ideas with familiar ingredients ❤️
I have a '22 Crosstrek and most options are buttons with a large screen I use with Android Auto. I would hate HVAC and heated seats integrates into the screen because I love mine being buttons, switches, and dials. Plus, I can control most of the screen features from my steering wheel.
I’m always a bit weirded out that Carmel makes the news more often than Indy (or so it seems). And totes agree it’s a weird place.
I’m not in the office frequently, but when I am, my supervisor and I just plan on getting absolutely no work done. It is soooo loud. We have cubicles and frequent teams meetings, and all that we can hear is everyone else’s conversations.
Neither of us can concentrate with the constant noise interruption.

One of my dogs who does this finds the sunniest spots in the dirt, flops over, and I swear she just turns off.
She’s a small bulldog mix, so I am duper careful with her in the heat, but also can’t deny her a little sun nap.
Sometimes I just want to go out and take a sunny dirt nap with her 😅
My friend bought a 22 leaf last year and from what I know, she loves it. It definitely took some getting used to! We still normally take my car on road trips, though.
That’s a part of the enlightenment and purpose for open-minded people. One or both may learn they really don’t understand what they so firmly believed.
As someone else pointed put, Connect just had an update. I was getting errors all morning and went to check, sure enough an update was available. Cured all my issues 😃
Thank you for posting! These sound interesting in the most delightful way!
I switched from Jerboa to Connect. I like Connect a bit better. Really excited for Sync for Lemmy, and will likely switch to that.
Sync!
12? 😅 lol, it’s literally the first thing I saw
