If an argument is being made for one thing, Fahrenheit, it’s not relevant to bring up a different thing. Why is feet a useful measurement? Maybe it’s not, we’re talking about temperature.

If Fahrenheit is “how people feel” then why are feet useful measurements of height when 90% of people are between 4ft and 6ft?
Those are two different things. Hope this helps.
This didn’t happen at the theme park, this happened at Disney Springs, which is basically a mall.
At this point, probably not. But, at one time, I did leave Firefox for Chrome when it was new.
I use bitwarden over Firefox because it can auto fill into apps. So, my bank apps or whatever else. And I’m not tied to Firefox if, for some reason, I want to stop using it.
It’s similar to why I don’t use Samsung pass on my phone. It’d work better filling in the fields, but that’s not going to help me on my PC, and I don’t want to maintain multiple managers.
Sure, but you know most people do not have to do what you just described.
Lemm.ee is good
Because bacteria would need to implement defenses to both attacks simultaneously, the researchers calculated that drug resistance is nearly impossible.
I’m no expert by any means, but I do know that several genetic failsafes have to be overcome simultaneously for you to develop cancer, so I don’t see why it would be nearly impossible for bacteria to overcome only two things at once.
And the credit rating one I can certainly get behind but some of it sounds like BS
It is. There’s no change to your credit rating or report over whether or not you paid interest. It’s not even a reported statistic. At best, you could argue that if they see the credit utilization is low and your payments are always on time that you probably don’t pay a lot of interest, but that is a typical indication of good credit.
It’s more likely that they had one credit card and not that long of a credit history with it.
Side tangent, but I wish people would recognize that more. You didn’t disprove something by providing ANOTHER fact.
How is it not related?
I mean, it’s literally in the name. “Hey, you know how some kids hate the crust and their parents cut it off? What if we sold it like that.”
To be fair, that’s a wild way to lift a laptop.
Being able to swap a battery to keep a phone working well for a few more years makes sense.
Android “swipe” keyboards in general are almost all terrible right now. We had it, I would get the correct word most of the time and I could do it fast. Now, no matter which one I try using - Google, Samsung, Microsoft, that FOSS one - nearly every sentence i type has some word that it gets wrong.
… just buy audiophile speakers and use a dac and amp? what do you mean?
I think they got as far as the cheetah having breasts and have been conditioned by the internet that this means furry. Which is fair.
To people thinking of joining Nebula because their marketing team/shills are currently spamming this thread, see peertube (federated like lemmy, open source)
Peertube is fine, but like lemmy (but worse), there’s barely anything there. Nebula at least got creators from YouTube to make ad-free versions for Nebula. If the channels that a person are subscribed to don’t exist in Peertube, that’s not an appealing alternative for them.
Right, HR is there to protect the company. Your manager is (almost always) not the company. So if the manager is doing something fucky, that’s what HR is for.
