Every single Vietnamese person I’ve known has only driven motorcycles or scooters, because the roads are already too congested to handle large vehicle traffic. I know autos are available for hire, but realistically is it even worth owning an American SUV in Vietnam?

I guess my experience is that many apartments don’t have carpet through much more than bedrooms now. Heck, one I looked at yesterday has zero carpeting, and this is a place with very cold winters.

My young male cat has a large 6x6 kennel that he goes into while I’m out, and he doesn’t even pee on anything, but I guess most people wouldn’t be willing to do that. (he just constantly tries it on with that elderly cat I mentioned above and that’s not good for anyone lol)

It’s interesting that they won’t let him go to a rental home.

But also, cat diapers are ridiculous. I have yet to find one that fits properly, my elderly cat always gets one or both of her legs stuck when she rises from a nap

My AC stopped working. It’s 1am and still 90°F inside my house. The only window that opens in this stupid house is next to the door, so I cant even take advantage of the colder nighttime temperatures and try to draft air through. And it’s only going to get hotter as the month progresses :/

I’m sorry! I’m a trekkie so I really wanted to love it. I can’t stand Seth McFarlane, though, and apparently it isn’t just his animated shows like Family Guy or American Dad that I hate.

Have you had an emg done? Sometimes we’re aware of something happening to our bodies before any test can really show it, and unfortunately sometimes that test is the emg.

That “push to the point of failure” is exactly how I’ve described my issues, and it really felt like it is a disorder in my muscles. And similarly my pain stops at rest. Turns out I have polyneuropathy, and I somehow acquired it before middle age, over the course of a few months, while perfectly healthy. It doesn’t make sense, but I think there’s a lot of new autoimmune and stress disorders that are cropping up that don’t make sense yet

Omg. I went to a Michio Kaku “lecture” like 15 years ago. Had no idea what he was about, it just seemed like an interesting way to spend an evening.

The entire hour and a half was painting his achievements like biggest thing since sliced bread, and trying to sell his books. I am still not even sure if he’s educated in his field or if he fell into it by speaking with a patronizing affect
