Pricing is so over the top, for a “non profit” no less. But they can just do it because it’s still well worth the money, i hate it, haha.

Really agree with this, looks like a comfort upgrade could be easily done, maybe also max out tire width, they looked real slim on the photo I googled.

*looks like default is 35mm tire width, that is actually quite good if you’re not off road all the time.

Sweet! I love Belgium :) I did quite a lot of short trips in that area, it’s so easy to reach for me and feels a bit "exotic*, haha. Language confusion is real in that area too, because you also have the German speaking Belgians.

I am not sure if I get this right, but I intend to go back there and I have been a bunch of times. Spot is an official bivouac spot, although there are no facilities there, just camping allowed. It is nice for me to start in the afternoon and have a safe spot to get out to.

Used to be camp fires allowed there but I guess it got out of hand, no more. This morning I also saw a bunch of tissues lying around, and a big bag of trash, even though you’re supposed to take it all with you. Bummer. I hope they won’t close these spots down completely, I don’t get people. I mean they must be some outdoor people too, what are they doing.

That is definitely some steep pricing, $30 for starters plus a subscription. I hope they at least have made this a geo based pricing system since the introduction, where it wasn’t. For people in poorer countries, where probably more hosts are badly needed, that may be a ton of money, but it does not look like they changed it.

Thank you, I guess I had a couple upvotes too but I was ratio’d pretty hard, for a small generally positive low traffic community I had like 20 down votes or something, people really did not like this. So I thought if it’s a real serious community about growing vegetables, it’s not for me, I don’t do that, I just do lighthearted wild flowers and bird stuff.

Awesome that you got these doves around and the owl! I have a kestrel cruising around my yard too. The pigeons make themselves all slim and starved looking when they hear it 😆 It’s tough out there for the birds, including the kestrel.

For me it’s a no, but looking at my subscribed communities, i don’t have all that many ml communities in there tbh.

The ones that i like best and that don’t have a better alternative elsewhere are !crows@lemmy.ml and !openstreetmap@lemmy.ml and i guess the ones about lemmy itself and jerboa.

The way they seem to be banning people is worrying to me, the ml users i generally don’t have a problem with, but i’m avoiding politics.
