Well duh, you need a lot more studies and then launch a multi-million dollar marketing campaign for that, as easy as pie!

When I have an edible or light up I am making a conscious decision that that’s the end of my traveling day and I’m not leaving the house again, at least not by driving anywhere. It’s just common sense. I don’t care what it is, alcohol, weed, high test cough syrup, your vicodin and muscle relaxers, doesn’t matter. Don’t drive impaired. If you’ve ingested those things, you’re impaired or about to be. Nice to see the pushback against the legalization fearmongers and their lack of evidence, though.

You know that’s the next step for ol’ Musk: pitching “driverless” as “me time”, w/ a fat spliff etc.

…provided he can dodge the bougie game hunters long enough. 🦖🦁🐊🫎 🔫🐀🧑🏼‍🍳

i mean, that’s kind of what I want in a driverless car. something that I can tell “get the fuck to the hospital” while I’m having an emergency that otherwise occupies my time.

now, do I trust musk to make it? fuck no.

The point is that it’ll be some fucktard billionaire who’s only in it for the lulz and thousands will die/suffer in the post-pre-order alpha testing…

That’s an interesting thing to study, and I totally agree we need more studies.

I personally think the most interesting thing is the relationship between a person’s consumption frequency/tolerance level and the effect it has on their driving. Some people getting high for the first time in their life can barely stand whereas there’s people that blaze up daily and drive perfectly fine. I mean, when you do it daily the buzz barely even lasts all that long.

That said, I’m all for research-based legislation. Then, I got 5 on the marketing campaign!
