So - not deplatformed. He can still use it. The platform has just decided not to run ads all over it.
It is a trend that many are seeing, just more censorship.
It will not stop at just the people you don’t agree with or like.
He is not being censored. He is quite literally being given a platform where he can speak to the world for free. He’s just not getting paid for it because Google doesn’t want to risk monetising the videos.
Well, I see it closer to censorship like many others have been censored.
When they removed the “monetising” it is used to deter people from talking a certain way.
Isn’t it free speech for an advertiser to not want his product to become associated with a possible rapist?
