paddock sources have pointed to the idea of a proposal being put forward for a gentleman’s agreement to help universally reduce the amount of time staff must serve for gardening leave
Sounds like improvements are already being considered, hopefully we’ll hear more about it soon
The argument about remote working is total nonsense to me, job market pressure and money lost paying gardening leaves are better arguments against prolonged gardening leaves IMHO.
