This isn’t about self-censorship or your perceived social wars. This is about filtering for accurate & verifiable information. And you consciously choose disinformation. You don’t get to call this doing anybody a favor.

The only war I am for is the class war.

How does it not cross your mind that disinformation is also a weapon of the class war that actively harms the people you claim to protect?

I hope that helps you understand a bit more of my views,

No, your responses never clarify anything but raise even more questions. They’re not even reasonable answers. Why are you sharing disinformation in the first place? Who could possibly gain a deeper understanding by consuming false news? And why are you so obsessed with this idea of championing your so-called echo chambers with bizarre and questionable sources nonstop? Because I don’t think a day goes by that I don’t see some crap you posted that’s disconnected from reality that gets all the downvotes. How is any of that acceptable to you? Do you really want people to think this way, to have a warped perception of reality by slowly moving the needle? Because that’s what it seems.

I smell a stinky, dishonorable rat hiding behind a polite mask.

      disinformation

Again, owner-class media and the duopoly talking points, I see as disinformation, misinformation, or whichever label you prefer to use.

I smell a stinky, dishonorable rat hiding behind a polite mask.

Some people are raised to be polite or are just polite from IRL experiences with multiple groups of people, but I know some are not priveleged enought to have that.

        They’re not even reasonable answers.

Case in point. You’ve said nothing here and are actively avoiding all my questions.

        • Who could possibly gain a deeper understanding or balance their views by consuming your false news?
        • Does it not cross your mind that disinformation is also a weapon of the class war and you’re actively sharing it?
        • Do you really want people to consume false ideas?

There’s a huge disconnection between what you say and what you do.

We have a difference in world views, politics, and sources we learn, read, and watch; it is understandable why we would not agree on the basics.

          false news

          disinformation

Again, your “disinformation” is not the same as what I would call “disinformation.” Even if the working class believes a lie, it does not make it true.

Again, what you see as “false ideas” and what I see as “false ideas” do not align, so it is logical that we may not agree on this.

There’s a huge disconnection between what you say and what you do.

It is okay if you think that way; we both have and continue to learn and experience life in different directions.

I do share diverse thoughts and ideas not seen in Lemmy; you are an example of someone who does not agree with what I post. Thank you for the interaction.

We all have critical thinking capabilities, and I encourage everyone to use them constantly and regularly in the world of the internet. If they want to go down rabbit holes, like some of us have done in our younger years, they can; if they don’t, they are free to continue the status quo.

I know I did not answer your questions the way you wanted me to, but that is life; it does not go our way.

Can you stop pretending that people don’t understand basic interpersonal differences? It’s no excuse. It only highlights your condescension and avoidance.

your “disinformation” is not the same as what I would call “disinformation.”

This is not an opinion. It’s inconvenient for you to admit it’s disinfo despite a reputable third-party fact-checker saying so. Do you know who also does that? Regimes that run disinformation campaigns–the ruling class that you oh-so hate.

continue to learn and experience life in different directions

By sharing/consuming raw disinformation? Is that how we learn and grow in your opinion?

you are an example of someone who does not agree with what I post

You mean the entirety of Lemmy. That’s your entire post history going back at least a year.

I encourage everyone to use them constantly and regularly in the world of the internet

            So why don’t you?

I know I did not answer your questions

            And you did not, again.

            Thank you for the interaction.

            Cut the bs.

              stop pretending

              condescension and avoidance.

I encourage you to take your own advice.

              reputable third-party fact-checker

Again, owner-class media < independent journalist, it is okay for you to only look at one side, but I will continue to learn from as many sides as I can.

              raw disinformation

And the owner-class talking points continue.

              entirety of Lemmy

That is one of the reasons why I like it here and why I will continue to be active whenever I can.

                owner-class media < independent journalist

I don’t care how you frame it, you’re still pedaling disinformation while pretending otherwise and you know it.

                owner-class talking points continue

Yeah yeah, I got a little owner-class booklet here telling me what to say. What a fever dream.

That is one of the reasons why I like it here

Again, you and I trust different sources, so it is understandable that we do not see eye to eye on these topics.

You pedal literal conspiracy sites. It’s not jus a difference in trust, it’s a willful lack of filter and the excuses you give. Don’t twist it.
