DISCLAIMER: ACTUALLY AN OPINION

I used to read Bleach a long time ago because a friend had a manga collection he let me borrow.

Now? I haven’t touched the series since because the characters weirded me out for some reason.

In this case, I’ll explain the scenario: Rukia and Renji were brought back into Soul Society for protection, so Ichigo and his other friends entered Hueco Mundo to rescue Orihime…but guess what? Partly through the mission, Rukia and Renji themselves appear before them and brutally beat down Ichigo and chew him out for leaving them behind anyway despite being under orders for their own protection. Yeesh. Well, it turns out Byakuya knew what was going on and after some stupid dialouge he let the two join Ichigo anyway and disobeyed Yamamoto in the process. Then Rukia quotes Byakuya to provoke Ichigo for comedy and to diffuse the situation now those two brutally apprehended him for something that wasn’t his fault to begin with.

Jeez, you too! And it turns out the strategy worked evem though Rukia and Renji were weaker than the Espada and barely survive.

Does anybody see how fundamentally flawed this series is as well as how violent Rukia is? Not to mention after the apprehension she doesn’t accompany Ichigo afterwards for that matter.

  • Yamamoto never gave any orders to Rukia and Renji they never disobeyed him, only told Byakuya to “bring Rukia and Renji back” Byakuya then said to then to do whatever they like.

how does this make the series fundamentally flawed?

Why didn’t Yamamoto be more specific with Byakuya about bringing back those two?

It feels pointless to bring the two back only to let them go anyway because of sentiment.
