Hello,
I have been using pi-hole running on a Google Cloud instance on US East servers. My problem is that I am located in EU and sometimes this is causing me to connect to the wrong servers by geolocation.
For example, if I ping to rtmps.youtube.com while connected to my pi-hole, it causes me to connect to an US server and I get 98ms latency.
However without pi-hole I connect to EU servers and get 3ms latency.
This is causing issues if I try to livestream to youtube.
As a workaround I’ve set a local DNS rule that resolves rtmps.youtube.com to the EU server.
But is there a way to simply change the geolocation that my pi-hole uses to query the Upstream DNS Servers other than physically moving the pi-hole instance to an EU server?
