Hello people.

I’m encountering a huge problem when I’m playing Metal Gear Solid V : The Phantom Pain on Steam Deck.

Sometimes when the rains or a sandstorm happens, my games crashes. Well actually, it freezes, and the audio continues to play. I had the same problem with MGSV : GZ, where the game freezes only in the main mission, so the only mission with rains. It’s been a week now that I’m looking for a solution. I’ve changed Proton version, I lowered some graphics settings, hell, I even put ALL graphics at the lowest and it STILL crashes.

Please, I need help. I don’t know what to do anymore and I’m losing hope. I’m enjoying this game so much but it’s frustrating to see it freezes cause of rains ans sandstorm and losing progress, and it’s ruining my experience with this game. It’s like I’m cursed cause I’ve seen so many people saying that MGSV works perfectly for them, and it seems that I’m the only one who has this weather crash/freeze problem.
