Hi! I just ordered a MacBook Pro 14" M2 Pro 10c/16c with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD. It’s used and sold from a third party (not a marketplace like eBay). I paid around 1,800 euros (in Germany).

Should I wait for the same model with the M3 Pro? I could’ve bought the Air model with bumped up specs, but 1,800€ for a Pro model (idc if it’s old) is just very good. What do you think?

    I agree with the other posters. Sounds like you got a deal.

    I used to be the upgrade-every-time with chip changes. That was in the 2000s, when the difference was very noticeable. Modern hardware is so damn fast that you’d only be able to notice if, as @FabioC93@feddit.it said, you’re doing super heavy lifting all day every day.

    I’m still loving the performance of my M1 MBP and likely won’t upgrade for a couple more years. Unless there’s a super-compelling new feature, of course.
