Donald Trump's lawsuit against a trio of New York Times reporters was dismissed over a year ago but now a judge has ordered that he must pay those reporters involved nearly $400,000 in legal fees.
He doesn’t though. He talks a big game about how rich he is, but it’s all talk - he is leveraged up to his eyeballs, his businesses hemorrhage money, and sooner or later someone is going to start calling in those debts and the whole thing will unravel - this is what the NYC fraud case is about; he lied about his finances to get loans that he wouldn’t have been able to get if people had known how little money he actually has
his home isn’t money. you… realize that, right? one can live in a building one owns while having zero actual cash… like… is that a concept too difficult for you to grasp, or what?
You do realise “living out of a box” is a general term for being destitute? I’m not just talking about his homes (plural), his standard of living is still well and above everyone else.
Sure, he’s not as wealthy as he made out, we all know this. But he lives better than most Americans.

I’ll take it by your spelling of the word really that you’re not from the US. I am, and that’s not an expression used much here. perhaps you should avoid using obscure metaphors when posting to website used mostly by Americans.
and he lived better than most because he’s in debt up to his eyeballs and living off credit. don’t you get this?
A negative vote score is no excuse for you being patronising towards me. I haven’t been rude here, you have, multiple times.
I made a statement of fact: Trump is not struggling financially. He’s not getting the huge loans he conned his way into before, but he’s still getting money and living a lavish life that most people could only dream of. A $400k fee isn’t going to change that - if he even pays it, I expect he’ll try and weasel out until he’s taken to court again for non-payment.
Rich people being in debt isn’t the same as you or I being in debt. Living off the credit is what they all do.

no, but thinking this is reddit and “karma” matters here is
I made a statement of fact: …but he’s still getting money and living a lavish life that most people could only dream of. A $400k fee isn’t going to change that
of course it will. he has very little cash as most of what he does is live of credit and freebees and his ability to keep borrowing is coming to an end. the little he gets in donations goes straight to his legal bills, living him little-to-nothing in the ways of liquid assets. he has to pay, and the best he can do is delay payment with appeals which cost him more money, which he can barely afford in credit from legal firms or from his campaign or PAC, which have to now prioritize the cases the fund.
so, no, just because you don’t know how any of this works doesn’t mean it’s a “fact”, and if you don’t like being told you’re wrong repeatedly, stop saying silly things like your previous comments.

Sure, but even now people are still giving him money. He’s not exactly struggling.
Idiots in mobile homes giving him money is not the same thing as major bank lending him money.
I didn’t realise Trump was so poor that he was living out of a box.
