Voyager 1 reached the heliopause in 2012, followed by Voyager 2 six years later, confirming the heliosphere isn’t actually a perfect sphere.

    Jeez, this is neat information but whoever edited that article approved absolute garbage. I’ve seen better command of the English language from 3rd graders.

        Is Jalopnik a zombie site now? It used to be about cars. (Jalopy + Beat-nick I think).

        I didn’t read this link but the title feels utterly unrelated.

          Like I said, always has been.

          And yes, that’s the etymology: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/-nik

          So I’m also not sure why they’re reporting space news.

            In the early days it had decent people writing articles about shitty cars and LeMons racing and stuff. It was decently funny and Mike Spinelli made some good jokes over the years.
