Pleasantly surprised how positive reddit-logo is about all the Chinese players. Maybe China actually is starting to win the social media PR war

Edit: nvm, some chinese players review bombed and reddit-logo got hilariously racist again

That’s turning pretty fucking quick right now since some Chinese players gave the game bad reviews on Steam

Looks like the Chinese version mistranslated some words and made them think they could liberate Equality-On-Sea when it’s literally a hold-the-line scenario

Now reddit-logo is getting sinophobic again

I just edited my comment before I saw your reply lmao. Yeh, didn’t take much to revert back to “stupid west taiwan ccp ebil” and “chinese are selfish nationalists (redditor goes back to cosplaying nazis and playing german sabaton song for the 5000000th time)”

They are winning when it comes to business relations, cultural exchanges, and general diplomacy, but Western freeze-gamer are a whole different ballpark.

That social sphere is completely dominated by socially isolated Chuds who get most of their info from far-right echo chambers online or their already reactionary (usually rich) families. A quick look at HD2 Steam forums and you have all the usual “ebil CCP brainwashed bots!!!” spam.
