“Joking”
Isn’t it wired that ‘‘jokes’’ aren’t funny, but instead are just morally bankrupt statements? You never see this with jokes, but boy are ‘‘jokes’’ just a bunch of hate speech. So strange.
There are plenty of examples to show otherwise. There’s an English comedian who has made that his whole schtick. But context and role are important. I’m guessing neither of those are relevant to this situation.
They were being very sarcastic.
By the examples shown in that article, he is the standard conservative and probably thinks he is completely justified
Conservatives are not sophisticated thinkers. One might even be tempted to say they’re unsmart.
