Canada’s largest Muslim organisation is outraged over a bill introduced by the Quebec government that would ban headscarves for school support staff and students.

“In Quebec, we made the decision that state and the religion are separate,” said Education Minister Bernard Drainville, CBC News reported. “And today, we say the public schools are separate from religion.”

But the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM), who are challenging in the Supreme Court the original bill that forbids religious symbols being worn by teachers, say the new bill is another infringement on their rights and unfairly targets hijab-wearing Muslims.

“This renewed attack on the fundamental rights of our community is just one of several recent actions taken by this historically unpopular government to bolster their poll numbers by attacking the rights of Muslim Canadians,” the NCCM said in a social media post.

If people wearing a piece of cloth is enough for you to say they should be deported and you do not think there is anything wrong with it you are quite far gone.

Can you please highlight or quote where I asked for deportation?

There’s a difference between asking for basic respect and asking for deportation.

Maybe you are too far gone.

Yeah, that’s not a call for deportation tho. I’m just stating that if this country ain’t for you, then go away.

Deportation would be… well. Being taken away by law enforcement. All I’m saying is that you shouldn’t move to a place and then ask THEM to assimilate to YOUR culture, religion, whatever.

          It’s still a difference.

You would forbid women who want to wear headscarves from going to school then?

Or would you forcibly make them go to school and the rip off their headscarf?

Please clarify how you are willing to force your preference of female clothing on women.

Yes. Because men are not allowed to wear caps at school either. It’s called equality. One of the wests core values.

Weird when I look at Palestine it appears racism, hypocrisy and genocide are the western core values.

Let men wear caps then everyone is happy.
