Oh come now. Brand transformed himself from a MSM figure into a marginal figure, by (a) being a bit of a one-trick-pony that people got a bit bored of (b) by banging on short conspiracy theories about vaccines etc.

The idea that the MSM media moved to ‘cancel’ him because he was a threat to the establishment is pretty laughable. Now Assange - yes, was a threat.

Trying to draw parallels between the two is a huge stretch

      The main problem is the:

      Guilty until proven innocent

More and more people that are talking about anti-status quo keep being smeared by MSM.

Yup, that whole #MeToo thing is just about stopping discussions about whether vaccines are evil and whether climate change is real

Well, once the law is involved, they either go to jail or are free from what they were accused of (damage done by media though for views).

Russell has always been open about his past, with many books and interviews where he talks about his drug and sex days.

I am trying to point out the MSM game plan that is always used for people that go against the status quo, not just Russell.

Yeh, and I’m trying to suggest that there. Isn’t some mass MSM conspiracy against contrarians. There’s a movement to out people accused of sexual assault.

Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, Rolf Harris, Bill Cosby were not gone after because of contrarian political views

I agree that you need to be careful about maintaining the concept of innocent before being proved guilty. But any the same time, it’s understandable that a company like YouTube might decide ‘yeh we don’t want to be seen to be making money of this stuff’ when credible accusations come along.
