Poor chick. 😢

That’s interesting. Looking forward to your comments after finishing the game.

It’s nice to see Splatoon Raiders getting such love.
Yeah, games are getting expensive, and Nintendo is notorious for not giving big sales on their first party games. Even patient gamers have to pay near full price. They do have different prices for different games, and that helps a bit though.

Wow, new update after 30 years! That’s a nice surprise for the fans.

You should. These kind of games aren’t for everyone (but then which game is?), but if you like the genre, it’s a really good game.

Kudos well deserved then 😀

Heh, you at least used stock art, I have known people who used to think copying images from “Google Images” is fine. 😀 People (mostly) know better now though.
As for games, there are tons of free assets available these days, which aren’t best for for releasing a game, but are good enough for prototyping, and even developing rest of the game.
And don’t worry too much about it, we all have our personality quirks that can be beneficial in certain aspects of life but a little annoying in others aspects. Just need to slowly learn the balance.

So, as a minecraft noob, does this mean he just “downloaded” a pre-made Kirby and put it here, or just that he saw how to make one and made it brick by brick?

My problem with OT1 was that it felt too repetitive. And it felt like 8 solo adventures, instead of a single campaign. Not sure if it’s worth trying OT2 or should just go for OT0.

Heh, I don’t think they will go for 12 in main game. 10 is a nice round number, and they stopped in middle of page just so people don’t expect another page, but clear that and let us know!
That’s the problem with multiplayer modes, you need enough people that there are always healthy amount of lobbies around, and I am not sure Switch 2 is at that point, specially for a game like this.
Heh, poor Jimothy.
Looking forward to that stupid thing you’ll be doing soon.

I played New Vegas on PS3 too, but I think it had some save related issue, the more you played the bigger your save got until you weren’t able to save or something, don’t remember exactly.
There are rumours of a remake now. Would be interesting if it’s a proper remake and not a remaster like Oblivion.
Someone shared ( in /c/Games I think) about PS2 Monster Hunter a few days back and it was obvious how difficuld it would be. The series has come a long way in improving quality of life.

That Kirby looks great. Kudos to whoever made that!

I can understand, I have been trying my hahd at a 2D game, and I never realised how much visual content you need for a game, and if a small 2D game need so much of that, I can only guess how much a 3D game will need.
I think at younger level, while learning, it’s fine to work alone, this gives you a breadth of knowledge and you learn about all the different aspects, but learning to work with others is also a useful skill and one that you should eventually work on.

XBOX has even less physical sales than PlayStation. I think they were at over 90% digital even few years back. Even the games they release, (some of these?) are “unofficial Game Key Cards”, with disc only containing few MBs of data, rest of all is downloaded.
This is not an anti-XBOX comment, just saying they when talking about these 3 consoles, they care the least about physical media.

While I agree, it does proves the argument that if there is content available only digitally, people will buy it.

You should keep it up, would love to see your progress in 3D modeling! (Of course, that is assuming you have interest in 3D modeling)

I pretty much agree with your whole point here, so I had to go back and re-read what we were discussing 😀
I think the fighting for scraps thing come from everyone having limited time for these entertainment. Games aren’t just competing with other games, they are also competing with Netflix and other such entertainment, as well as from games like Fortnite and Roblox. You can argue that these people won’t play other games no matter what, but they are still party of that growth that video game industry has seen. They are still part of that 3+ billion gamers the industry claim (or 100+ Million console gamers, if just talking about consoles). And I think that’s where some of the issue comes from, all companies want their share from that pie of gamers which leads to all these decisions.

Yeah, I don’t think they care about GTA 6, but will have to wait for actual release date announcement.
I wonder if Duskbloods will be pushed to next year, or are we getting it and Zelda in November and December.

That Blender recreation looks pretty good, I first thought it was some game mod that allowed you zoom in or get in 3rd person view where you took the screenshot. So really nice work there.
Hehe, good luck!
