3·1 month agoThanks for sharing your though.
I think also that naming is an underused super power. It’s also difficult to do it well at the first try.

28·2 months agoWhat about not using Youtube at all? Or just the bare minimum, without account, without interactions to stop to feed the system at a user level?
What is your app about?

Programming@programming.dev•[Solved] Any opensource, themed CV generators out there?
1·2 months agoI tried some solutions and the one I stick is to write an HTML page that I use for my website ( https://cv.isman.fr/ ) and just print it in PDF.
And it’s vesionned with git, of course!

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Looking for a Caldav tool to sum the time used per dayEnglish
1·2 months agoWell, for a lots of reasons I do not want to use LLM to generate code. I prefer interactions between humans.
And I prefer not to use projects that allow this kind of tools to develop them.

Programming@programming.dev•Is it worth to learn javascript for making a little incremental game as a side project ?English
7·5 months agoYes it is.
There is nice gameengine to play with, like https://www.babylonjs.com/
Typescript or even JavaScript now are nice to work with.
You probably know that, but I discovered the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_key concept with ergol, and also the Alt-gr layer.
Both are very useful for me now.
I think you can use them to have a nice setup for your three langages you type.
Nice, there is actually a lot of projects! That’s nice. 🙂

KDE@lemmy.kde.social•This Week in Plasma: Per-Screen Virtual Desktops and Wayland Session RestoreEnglish
7·6 months agoKWin now supports the Wayland session management protocol! This is an important step for apps to be able to remember their sizes and positions after restarting the system. The next step is for toolkits, libraries, and apps to implement support. We’re getting there!
I wait so much for that!!!
