What should make it obvious that English is becoming more gendered and not less, is other western European languages even have gendered nouns. The worst part is it came so close to a perfect game as far as replayability. They should have prioritized making the game shorter but more horizontal, widely different ways to complete a few necessary goals between loops.

Just the space swimming to level up powers were a chore, and being able to keep on set of armor and a single weapon could have really helped.
