21·2 days agoYes, what I’m finding is that if you didn’t grow up in an east asian household, you didn’t have the fry before steam routine drilled into you
If you want to put the effort into it, google “pan fried dumplings recipe” and compare how many tell you to fry before steaming. I looked through the first 20 and every single one says to fry first. I’ve also bought hundreds of bags of dumplings and never seen instructions to steam first.
The only time I encountered it being the norm was working at a Chinese/Japanese restaurant and from what the chefs said, it’s pretty standard in the industry to par boil then fry as opposed to the traditional way.
My mom’s dietitian said if my mom wants to eat simple carbs, she needs to cook them with fat and protein like instant oats with peanut butter or white rice with beans because it lowers the GI and spikes insulin less. So I was wondering if having oil as if it were an aperitif would function the same
They don’t typically have the same stitching in the ass as women’s leggings. They fit and feel like boxer briefs would around the ass.

81·17 days agoYou might be better off trying to get people to hop on a discord server or using an online dnd campaign service. Unless your goal is to stretch campaigns out as long as possible. Which is fun in its own right
That being said, I would probably take part in a long form dnd run

Hurts my soul to see those plump little cherry tomatoes being used for chili. I love the explosion of a good cherry tomato when you pop them in your mouth.

I don’t know if I’ve ever had actual american cheese (I’m Canadian), I’ve eaten over the border countless times and there could have been american cheese in my burgers but I can’t say I’ve knowingly eaten it. Is it the same as government cheese? Do they come in blocks or individually wrapped like kraft singles? I really only know about it through memes and pictures and to me, it just looks like the typical mass produced cheddar blocks you can get at any grocery.
