Actually I think it may have something to do with your demeanour. People tend to react negatively to rudeness esp about personal topics. I don’t necessarily agree but many people require communication to be structured a certain way and framed politely or they react poorly. If you genuinely want to communicate with them you probably need to develop some tact. Otherwise keep on trolling if that’s what you’re after

The visual issues you’re describing sound like ocular migraine symptoms, they don’t always come with pain. Taking more frequent small breaks from the screen might help too. Be kind to yourself and give yourself time to heal :)

Do you think you’d actually say that to a stranger in real life, though? Maybe to a friend or someone else you were close with who understands your perspective and you’ve already developed common ground and rapport with. And that may be part of the issue with Internet communication. You are essentially talking to someone (or challenging them) about very personal things, with minimal understanding of them, and they have minimal understanding of you and your intentions as well.

Or it is just related to the phenomenon of people willing to be more confrontational behind the safety of their keyboard (in both directions).

With regard to why someone took offence to what you said, consider this: if a 14 year old boy said he liked women, would you also question his certainty in his sexuality even if he had 0 practical experience? Or is it only something you’d question for bi or otherwise queer people whose preferences aren’t conforming to the standard? I suspect the latter, because it’s pretty damn rare for anyone to ask straight people if they are sure they are straight… shouldn’t they have some homosexual experiences first to be sure?

It’s okay, it’s fairly improbable that they will be built… it’s still unfortunate that such a flagrant disregard for climate change (which is already hurting us) is being pursued all over North America just because we desperately and urgently need data centres for ??? right away and we simply can’t use renewable energy for them either. Sask, Alberta, and Ontario are probably at highest risk for large data centres actually coming to fruition but there are some substantial hurdles to getting them built right now (chip shortage is a big one). And they may have gotten a little too eager and ambitious during the pump part of the pump and dump, and if the dump arrives early the poor AI companies might be decimated before they can actually get the forsaken things built (hence the rush). Fingers crossed and keep pushing back however you can!

Some of this seems neurological which is concerning and can be harder to get diagnosed. You could ask for some kind of neurological tests or imaging if you haven’t had that yet?

The incident in Canada in 2021 was interesting/troubling because they were already in the news here for breaking the national temperature record for 3 consecutive days in a row. And then the last day the whole town burned down.

Maybe people can do both. But money talks and replacing these repeatedly becomes expensive for those who have elected to purchase them.

Depends what the team is doing. If it’s a marathon running team for charity, or a team of people picking up garbage on a beach, it probably doesn’t matter much.

He looks decent to me, as long as you have some driftwood (which I see you do) for him to chew on, plus some algae wafer, he should be just fine! Do you see him going after the wafers when you add them? Thats the usual pleco food I use, he will also hoover up the normal fish pellets
