21·1 year agoDon’t you just love when a user submits a ticket that’s “super urgent, this is preventing me from doing my job!” and when you ask how long it’s been happening: “Oh, about a month”

This was years ago, but I had a similar issue of not being able to SSH in a hotel. I talked to the front desk and they were able to grant me access to a different network that didn’t have that blocked. I can’t remember whether I had to pay for it or not…
Around here, the grocery stores usually have a deli section that also cooks and sells ready-to-eat food, including fried chicken and chicken tenders. I suspect something like that is where this sign was seen

Tea@lemmy.zip•Where should I start if I want to go beyond grocery store green tea bags?English
2·1 year agoAdding on to this, I really like Adagio’s IngenuiTEA 2 (I actually have the Teavana one, but they’re the same thing). You just put your loose leaf tea in it, pour in hot water, and let it steep. When it’s done you set it on top of your mug and it filters the tea out the bottom
Unfortunately that image was the concept image. The real thing doesn’t look near as cool. It just kinda looks like a minivan ☹️

2·1 year agoOh I see. Down at the bottom. That seems awkward to use. I like the soft touch buttons on both sides of the Voyage. They rest under my thumb while I’m reading and I just have to squeeze to turn the page

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's the oldest technology you continue using?English
