Yeah no, he purposefully invaded animals environment’s and manhandled them for money. The only good thing he did was to show that doing what he did for money occasionally has consequences, lime being stabbed in the heart by one of the animals he just had to go up to and touch. Seriously there was a massive backlash building to his shit in aus until he died and then he was suddenly canonised and was untouchable.

Technology@lemmy.world•People prefer stories written by AI – especially when told they’re written by a humanEnglish
1·1 month agoIt literally addresses that in the linked article.
Speculating on why this might be, Dr Weisberg added: “AI writing tends to be clearer, more direct and easier to process. By contrast, human-written stories, are often more subtle and complex. For example, the AI versions of our stories usually stated their themes explicitly, rather than allowing readers to infer meaning from the characters’ words and actions.
“We hear a lot about the crisis in literacy, shrinking attention spans and the influence of platforms such as TikTok. But I don’t think we can say that our findings in this study can be entirely explained by contemporary media consumption. It’s more that these technologies amplify existing tendencies, rather than creating them.
House of leaves is my all time favourite mindfuck horror literature. I just recommend going hard copy over ebook as the formatting is super important. I can’t really describe it except to say I can see how Backrooms could be inspired by it.

About 5 pm for me. My shift is 10 pm till 6 am 5 days a week. And I try to stick to a 1 pm till 8 pm sleep schedule. But it is always interesting seeing people at 4-5 am and trying to guess whether they are knocking off or starting work.
