  • I came from reddit 2 or 3 years ago now and i think most others are the same. Idk about all of a sudden. Its had the same undertones for a while now if you ask me and i think it grows along with the more people that join. As for politics I got tired of that the year before the last election. I invested some time into filters with certain words. Some stuff still slips by, but i am fine with seeing a few things.

Personally I can’t wait for more of that, the one thing this place lacks is the smaller unique communities that bring a lot of great obscure information to the table.

  • HeyJoe@lemmy.worldtoGaming@lemmy.worldExpedition 33 takes it too far.

I have never really seen much of hate. The only things I have seen my entire life is the stereotype that french people are rude and bitter. I have no clue how true it is since ive never traveled or seen a ton of french people. The closest would be people from Canada and they are all very nice. I think the biggest example I have seen is they hate US tourists and treat them with a cold shoulder. Considering how rude and entitled a lot of US tourists can be I probably don’t blame them if it is true.

  • Octopath is owned by Square Enix as well so idk about that. I am happy they are finally doing this, I’ve been asking for this since before octopath but once i saw octo I just wanted to see it more. Personally I think they should break the series into 2. The main one continuing to do whatever it is they are doing, and then a classic style series like this but completely new stories and just continuing to do the old school way while improving the systems to be more modern. I feel like they would have better luck pushing that these days over a truly new FF sadly.

  • From what I heard it can be due to the audio mix used. Most content is set to a 5.1 mix or higher, and the majority of people still just use their 2.0 tv speakers. Sometimes you can pick the audio on some services and some may have a 2.0 option but i think its rare these days.

  • I see that the 4.8% was a mistake thankfully. I don’t know much about body fat but I did see a video that showed you what each range looks like for male and female and the percentages of how many people fall under each. Basically hitting 10% and under is like the 1% range. Its extremely hard to stay under this level, is not healthy, and generally your only this low for specific reasons like competitions. 10-15% is still hard to maintain and again normally only obtainable by people who constantly exercise and eat specific diets. 15-20% is where most people who workout and eat right will end up. 20-30% is healthy and the range most people fit into. 30-40% is also not crazy either and it was interesting to see when shown people how despite being at that level some people can look heavier and others look completely fit still. I think anything above 40% is where you should be working on yourself.

  • The article states it is from sunday. They clearly made it accurate as they could. Theres some good points in the comments here so who knows if it was completely faked somehow, but if he really does look that good somehow and as the arricle states theres literally nothing wrong with him the entire time, then a month off sounds like a lot and he should be back to work this week right? Well see him anyday now back to it! Cant wait.
