ElanoidesWahl@slrpnk.netto TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name@lemmy.world•Happy First Contact Day?English41·2 months agoHOLY SHIT! i read that in Weyoun’s voice!
(Edit) Also maybe it’s the current mood but the Cardassian terrorist cells are really hitting me hard right now. I never thought I would find Demar sympathetic.
ElanoidesWahl@slrpnk.netto TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name@lemmy.world•Happy First Contact Day?English9·2 months agoI’m 3 episodes away from finishing DS9 for the first time and all I can think is “Is that Jeffrey Combes?”
ElanoidesWahl@slrpnk.netto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Baby face next to nameEnglish13·2 months agoAs far as I’ve noticed on Voyager, it lasts a month. Voyager even has a day counter next to it.
ElanoidesWahl@slrpnk.netto TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name@lemmy.world•[Awkward Jim 4th wall break]English2·2 months agoI completely forgot about the PlayStation games. The gif you posted is crisp enough it looked like it came from one of the Tom Hardy movies! The spider-cat looks much more game-y.

Not many people I know personally like watching before reading but I definitely prefer it in that order as well. If I read an amazing book before watching its film adaptation, the film will never live up to the book. The Martian was this way for me.

ElanoidesWahl@slrpnk.netto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Which one is selected? The "Yes" option or the "No" option?English21·9 months agoAlso the “no” has the yellow reflection from the graphic above, implying its projecting out.
ElanoidesWahl@slrpnk.netto TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name@lemmy.world•The perfect "breather" episode doesn't exis...English3·10 months agoIt makes so much sense that a Henson movie is one that flew under the radar for me. I never would have guessed they use the puppet effects on live actors. That’s so cool how well simple practical effects work in movies. I wonder how many we still see in modern movies and just assume they are CGI. The Borg Queen was one I saw on here a while back that blew me away.
ElanoidesWahl@slrpnk.netto TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name@lemmy.world•The perfect "breather" episode doesn't exis...English3·10 months agoI didn’t even see that! I was just reminded of the other, more obvious shot. I might never be able to watch another movie again without being suspicious if the actors elbows are offscreen!
ElanoidesWahl@slrpnk.netto TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name@lemmy.world•The perfect "breather" episode doesn't exis...English4·10 months agoThis is insane, I never realized how much of this is happening right before my eyes! The one I posted was the first I notice on my own because it was as obvious as the Swedish Chef. I didn’t even get what Ummthatguy was pointing out until your post gave more context. Guess I was distracted by the bulge!
ElanoidesWahl@slrpnk.netto TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name@lemmy.world•The perfect "breather" episode doesn't exis...English3·10 months agoIt is the image I posted. I might be misremembering, maybe it was the from the
other episodeInner Light. After that point though, I was constantly on the lookout for more Muppet trek. There was one shot of Riker that was a bit suspicious. 😁
ElanoidesWahl@slrpnk.netto TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name@lemmy.world•The perfect "breather" episode doesn't exis...English25·10 months agoOne of my favorite episodes of TNG for no reason other than the shot of Picard playing the flute with some other actors hands operating the instrument holes. When I realized they weren’t his hands I couldn’t un-see “Muppet Picard”.
I heard this in Will Arnett’s voice.
